You’re enough. I’m enough. We are all enough as we are.
It’s hard to love yourself! It’s hard to be happy with what you see in the mirror, literally and figuratively. A lot of times our uncertainty and self-doubt is triggered from the outside world and the people in that world putting us down for our individuality and other things. Because the criticism for being ourselves and staying true to who we are gets so overbearing, we often forget that there’s only one person whose validation matters— our own.
We determine our power and we are the ultimate judge of ourselves, not the people out there! As long as we accept ourselves and love ourselves for who we are, nothing else matters. We have power to change ourselves, not others who try to push us to change. We are our ultimate source of happiness and we have to remember to not let other people trick us into thinking otherwise.
That being said, this blog is to serve as a reminder that we are enough as are. It serves as a venting space, as a giant “F—K YOU!” to the poisonous voices telling us not to be who we want to be, forcing us to forget that our lives are our own to live, not to be lived for the pleasure and convenience of others.
A better outlook on yourself and on life starts with you! Your opinion on yourself, unaffected by anyone else, is the only one that matters. Once you remember that, your life will start getting brighter and brighter!
This blog is for us to reclaim ourselves as our own and to take pride in who we are, though some may try to bring us down because of it.
Together, we can reclaim what makes us our own person and tell everyone else who threatens to take that away from us, “Don’t you f——-g dare!”
Hey all, sorry I haven’t been around.
